FAQs

  • We have practice twice a week, on tuesdays and fridays in the evening. Additionally, both the men’s and women’s team have a game on sunday roughly every other week. Lastly, we partake in a couple of tournaments (either a single day or a full weekend) a couple times throughout the year.

  • Yes! Since we are a student club, we also organize plenty of social activities.

After practice, we often stay in the clubhouse for a couple of drinks. Once every month on Friday, we organize a (sometimes themed) social. Additionally, we have some bigger events throughout the year, such as a christmas dinner, a summer party, socials with other associations, student rugby tournaments and a yearly trip.

  • Yes ofcourse! We welcome players of all levels, so also inexperienced players. As long as you join the practices regularly, we will make sure to get you up to speed on this amazing sport.

  • For the first practices that you join, you will only need sports clothes and shoes that can get dirty.

However, if you plan on staying with us, we recommend you to get a mouth gard, rugby shoes with studs and a short. Luckily, these things aren’t too expensive to buy, so no worries about big costs

  • As a member, you don’t have any obligations. However, we do highly encourage coming to practices regularly. This is because it will help to improve your own level of rugby, the level of the team, and will additionally help to preventing injuries.

Since we are a student organization, we rely on our members for keeping the club running. Therefore we do expect from all our members to help out from time to time (for example with a bar shift).

  • You can pay both the full and recreational membership in two or three installments, spread out over the year. Only the social membership needs to be paid in one term.
